How do you build background knowledge with vocabulary? Have you experimented with any Web 2.0 tools to get your students engaged? Visuwords is a total new way to interact with vocabulary. How do you imagine it being used in your classroom?

Hi Karen: Wonderful tool! I use it as part of my Differentiated instruction, my kids have to locate the best definition, find synonyms and antonyms. Also we review parts of speech as a group.
I think it s an awesome little app.
